Video – 50 yards from a Tornado

Storm Chaser Joel Taylor on this video near Arnett, Oklahoma: Here is our video of the EIlis Co., OK tornado…As I said, we were within 50 yards of this violent tornado!! We had to back up at the last second to avoid being hit by it (we were actually within the circulation!), and my cell phone fell out onto the road, and was hit by the tornado…it’s probably still airborne.

World War 4

Actually we were lucky and World War 3 did not follow Einstein’s prediction – The Cold War ended with a whimper, not a bang. World War 4 is being fought on an electronic battle-field, as the connectivity of Globalization upsets the insulated traditional cultures around the globe. The reaction is global jihads and a counter-reformation in the Episcopal Church of Conservative members from places like Africa. There was a similiar pushback with the Counter Reformation, during the last communications revolution – the invention of the printing press. And what did they print? – the Gutenberg Bible. The result was the rise of Martin Luther and the Liberal Protestant movement and the Conservative Catholic counter-attack, resulting in the 100 years war, amongst others – A Christian Civil War.

The curse of oil dragged Middle East desert tribes into contact with the outside world. Now, we have a Muslim Civil War. Not just the long simmering feud between Sunnis and Shiites, but one over the effects of Modernity on basic Muslim values and beliefs. The internet is the 21st century equivalent of the Renaissance’s printing press for the Islomafacist’s counter-reformation jihad. Where the Christian Civil War was confined to Europe, the revolutionary Global connectivity that has unprecedentedly dragged much of the world out of Poverty has also spilled the war for the soul of Islam far beyond it’s borders to around the world.
