Spy Death by Nuclear Poisoning Tied to American Hiroshima

Here is a different take on the Litivenko mystery via Randy Marks written By Paul L. Williams Ph.D.& Lee Boyland:
The death of Alexander Litvinenko by radiological poisoning points to the possibility that the former Soviet spy may have been involved with Islamic terrorists in the preparation of tactical nuclear weapons for use in the jihad against the United States and its NATO allies.

Litvinenko, who was born an orthodox Christian, was a convert to Islam with close ties to the Chechen rebels. His last words consisted of his desire to be buried “according to Muslim tradition.” Continue reading “Spy Death by Nuclear Poisoning Tied to American Hiroshima”

The decadent whims of the world’s wackiest despots
When Senior General Than Shwe was spooked by a negative astrological reading, he abruptly ordered that the capital of Myanmar be moved from Rangoon to a dusty jungle town called Pyinmana.

They’re quirky, vibrant, and they march to the beat of their own military drums, when they’re not off committing crimes against humanity. Since time immemorial, autocrats, absolute monarchs, dictators, and less than savory heads of state have shown a penchant for the unconventional and over-the-top, in both their personal lives and political careers. Conan brings Horny Manatees to the internet

Conan brings Horny Manatees to the internet – TV Squad
On Monday night, Conan ran a comedy bit on NCAA mascots. Among the mascots was “FSU’s webcam manatee.” The gag of a gyrating manatee in front of a computer ended with one of the band members checking out the hot manatee on his laptop. Conan cracked that he must be frequenting “hornymanatee.com.

The next night, Conan appeared explaining that, unbeknownst to him, NBC policy requires that any non-existent web address that is mentioned on the air be bought by NBC for ten years. We’ll never really know if this fact was actually “unbeknownst” to the Cone Zone, but it does mean that NBC now has among its stable of web property – HornyManatee.com – which has now become a Conan-related site for fan pics of hot and lusty sea cows in action. There’s a solo manatee, manatee on manatee, man on manatee and fetish pages. One of those should satisfy your interspecies cravings.

Cow ’emissions’ more damaging to planet than CO2 from cars

Independent Online Edition > Environment
A United Nations report has identified the world’s rapidly growing herds of cattle as the greatest threat to the climate, forests and wildlife. And they are blamed for a host of other environmental crimes, from acid rain to the introduction of alien species, from producing deserts to creating dead zones in the oceans, from poisoning rivers and drinking water to destroying coral reefs.

The 400-page report by the Food and Agricultural Organisation, entitled Livestock’s Long Shadow, also surveys the damage done by sheep, chickens, pigs and goats. But in almost every case, the world’s 1.5 billion cattle are most to blame. Livestock are responsible for 18 per cent of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming, more than cars, planes and all other forms of transport put together. FogQuest – Fog Collection

FogQuest – Fog Collection / Water Harvesting Projects

Fog collectors are made of an inexpensive, durable plastic mesh. The mesh has fibers that efficiently collect the fog droplets and is woven to allow for rapid drainage of the collected water. The mesh is erected in vertical panels that are 4 meters high by 10 or 12 meters long. Depending on the location, each panel produces 150 to 750 liters of potable water per day during the fog season.

FogQuest is a non-profit, registered charity dedicated to planning and implementing water projects for rural communities in developing countries. They utilize innovative fog collectors as well as effective rainfall collectors to make optimum use of natural atmospheric sources of water.

Fight Club …on 60 Minutes

Fight Club …on 60 Minutes; Exclusive Video Only on Yahoo! News
It’s been likened to a street corner brawl: two men fighting, very few rules, and the last one standing is the winner. It may be brutal but “Mixed Martial Arts” is also one of the fastest growing sports in America. Scott Pelley talks with the man behind the “Ultimate Fighting Championship” and goes toe-to-toe with some of the top fighters in the sport today.

Now its pay-per-view buys are approaching one million and Spike TV’s Ultimate Fighting Championship, the nation’s most popular pro league, outdraws baseball and basketball among the 18 to 34 crowd, which is the most highly desireable advertiser’s demographic.  In fact, many have speculated that cage fighting, with its hyper-quick action and colorful characters, will replace boxing as the nation’s choice bloodsport.

The UFC was to be based upon a version of Brazilian vale tudo fighting. Often violent and brutal with minimal rules, the UFC’s brand of vale tudo, initially known as no holds barred fighting, allowed fighters of various disciplines to prove which martial arts style prevailed above others in realistic, unregulated situations. Early UFC fights, while accomplishing the goal of determining which style was best, were less sport than spectacle, which led to accusations of brutality and “human cockfighting” by opponents. Here is some video from that period, which was eventually banned on Pay-for-View, until it was re-vamped with 31 rules.
