  1. This is so sad to read. Of all the winners, I anticipated this one to last. Was such a sweet story about how he won and not wanting to marry another girl just because he was rich now? I really thought this one was a fairly tale come true. Money definitely can’t buy happiness!

  2. It is definitely a classic case of “money doesn’t buy any brains”! Most people with half a brain would turn that $27Mil into $500Mil in 20 years, but since you are born to be a criminal then no money in the world would ever change that.

  3. I am heartbroken, because I recently saw his story & thought he took the yearly pay as it was safer. My sadness is for 2 reason’s. I knew he helped people, & I felt sad for him. I was looking for his address so I could see if he’d help my wheel chair bound daughter. She is about to loose her home & we only needed around, $6,000 & she was willing to sign the deed. She is now getting her 3 year back S.S pay. We never had good medical, due to no money. The city of Tasmpa kept tossing her off. I went on a hunt to prove she had no VA medical becausew she left too early. Well, to our sheer joy & sorrow ( no medical for 30 years) happy because she can now get fixed up. She fell under a special 5 year blanket that was made during the 70’s. All one needed was complete basic & do get this””only one day”” of honorable sevice & you were entitled to life long medical. She lost her large toe & soon hopes to get better, amongst a host of other problems. Her SS atty sewnt her a bill for his 25% so we know it’ll go through. She should recieve around 28,000.00 that is for a bit over 3 years. Her husband died & her son graduated & she lost her income. He now has a nice job, & can keep up the $358 mrtg untill her rectoactive check comes in. We would have re payed it with a $1,000.00 bonus. So this is why I am very sad. We only have “maybe 6 weeks” before it goes to auction ^ they have vertually no where to go. GEE, I honestly feel bad that Mr EdweaRDS HAD TO FALL PREY TO BAD LUCK & YES, i FEEL BAD FOR MY sHERRY. wHO EVER MAY READ THIS (IF ANYONE DOES) PLEASE PRAY FOR US. eXCUSE MY TYPE IT GETS STUCK. iN CASE ANYONE KNOWS OF ANYONE, tHE FEE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE FORECLOIUSER ATTY & THEY CAN ONLY ACCEPT ONE PAYMENT. i Am at anjelswisper@aol.com Bonnie

  5. give david a break, who knows what any of us would do if we were in the same situation. He is the one that has to live with his actions, i personally do not want to be so judgemental. cindy

  6. I think if he would have left the addict he was going with and then married he would still be okay.

I see at one time he had files for divorce…..should have pulled the plug before she got him addicted(to whatever it was.

Heard he gave quite a bit to different charities so his heart was in the right place…just not his head.
