Why Islam failed Muslims
Islam is a warrior’s creed that served its early followers well. From impoverished desert tribes, they rose to forge an empire in a short time that stretched from Spain to India. The ethos it engendered – brotherhood for believers, contempt and hatred for non-believers, belief in heavenly rewards for fallen warriors, a high fertility rate (which requires the subordination of women), blind obedience – created formidable warriors.
But these same qualities are handicaps for Muslims in the age of the microchip. Today they lead to poverty, belligerency, war and defeat. Many Muslims look back with fondness to their days of glory and try to recover their former days by using the old methods. That is why there is today a rising tide of Islamic fundamentalism across the Muslim world. They are bewildered at their weakness and look for conspiracy theories. Muslims think their failure is due to some Jewish or American plot not realizing that failure comes from within themselves. They are out of touch with reality.
Once were warriors, Muslims are now like Don Quixote tilting at windmills in a world they no longer understand.
Tkcollier does not know any thing about Islam. He is not muslim. So he he can’t write about Muslims. I am a Muslim and I know that we don’t hate the non-believers we love them like our brothers we try to guide them to the straight path. We do not face defeat and we dont lead to poverty. We do not make war, Muslim means one who submits to god. How can someone who submits to god be a terrorist or create war. We don’t look at the past some Muslim countries are very rich like Saudi Arabia and Dubai. We are not weak we are strong and one day Muslims will have there glory again. We will be the strongest empire that once stand one more time. Every one will know us.
If Islam is what u say Mr. tkcollier, then explain to me the conversion of the Indonesians, who r the largest Islamic nation 2day, and no islamic army set foot on that country, ppl like u discust me….

A good question, to which I would make 2 points. One is Geography; Indonesia is an Island archipelago and not part of the Eurasian land mass. Just as North America has been protected by an Ocean moat from the continual wars of Eurasia, so has Indonesia. Secondly, just as the Christian Religion ranges from the tolerant Unitarians to the Intolerant Fundamentalists,do does Islam. Indonesia does not have the intolerant wahibi-like version that is the basis for the self-destructive Jihadist faith, even though it has tried relatively unsuccessfully to gain followers. Islam was born in the deserts of Arabia and had to adapt to the slush Tropics of Indonesia. While the desert is a desperate place to eke out a living, the Tropics are a relatively friendly environment for finding food and shelter. If muslim do not hate non-muslims then why they prey for the destruction of non muslims after every prayer in their mosques ?

Abdullah, I must say you are sadly mistaken. When Islam is at the peak of power in a particular region, with its clerics in the government, when it is closest to the very conditions it claims will bring peace… It just all falls apart. Just look at Afghanistan or Iran. Human rights violations galore, poverty, and breeding grounds for Islamic fundamentalism.
Then compare that to Algeria, which has a 98% Sunni population. They don’t have nearly the same level of problems that the other two have, and that’s due to having a secular government that separates church from state.
Islam is backwater, sly talking, and utterly repugnant rubbish. The only reason any person gets sucked into Islam is because they are uneducated about the whole of Islam. They are sweet talked in by saying how Islam is backed by Science and their God is a peaceful, benevolent creator. Both of which are completely false statements by the way…. no entity that makes life for the sole purpose of sending untold billions to eternal torment is in the slightest good.
islam bererti selamat. tiada di anjurkan di dalam islam sifat tindas menindas , bunuh berbunuhan ,dan kekacauan. tetapi apa yang berlaku pada zaman ini ialah di mana hak – hak umat islam telah dirampas oleh yahudi dan nasrani. contoh apa yang berlaku sekarang di palestin dimana hak hak orang islam palastin telah dirampas , orang awam di bunuh tanpa sebab , penempatan mereka dirobohkan dan lain lain lagi. yang pelik nya PBB hanya mampu melihat tanpa mengambil apa apa tindakan keatas tindakan biadap ISrael. Amerika sekutu rapat israel pula menyokong tindakan sahabat nya itu. Inikah kah yang selama ini dilaungkan oleh pihak America ” democracy” ??
